They are blue. They're bright as can be (model 2010). I turned them on mid day yesterday (sunny) while in a covered slip and they were very easy to see.

+1, just curious, my first thought was "that's a mighty big hole in the boat just for a nice to have light".

Though the light is 5" in diameter, the shank/thru hull is only 1". The 'flange' created by the light itself makes for a large sealing surface. These lights are top quality. The hardware, connectors, etc. are all excellent.
