Oil in transom

Hi, first use of my 2000 sundeck 210, after winter. I noticed engine oil level was low and oil in transom. No visible leaks from top area of engine, what could be leaking from bottom half of engine?

Check the security of the oil pan bolts. If they're loose, you may get off lucky. Probably worth changing the gasket out if you can do it without pulling the engine. Otherwise, perhaps tighten them up (torque?) until you go in for maintenance. Drain plug would be a really easy solution - no gasket (washer) or 2 could cause it. Improper torquing...

allot of those get rott holes around where the oil drain screw is iin the bottom of the oil pan. Thats usually if you had salt water in your bilge at 1 time or another. also check the oil pressure sensor on the port side of the engine block. If your motor is a carb motor there is also a switch there for your fuel pump shut off, that could be corrodded too.
