Outboards

Just curious if anybody purchased a boat with 7 Marine outboards….they were the latest and greatest, being mated with Tiara boats, until Volvo bought and subsequently shutdown production. Is there any product support?
Same with Evinrude and Bombardier….
I still see the odd engine around, wouldn’t want to be trying resale with these power plants.

A boat with seven outboards on it? Or outboards made by Seven Marine?

Personally I think it hurts resale. I found a boat locally, which is almost exactly what I want -- only about 5 years old but it has a 300 Evinrude E-TEC and I passed.

I've read similar: that Volvo bought them to kill it but I'm not sure about that.

I would rather have Merc since there is a dealer nearby and you can get parts ..... *most* of the time
