Portlight Replacement 225WE 2003

Can someone please tell me the procedure to replace the portlight outer trim ring and lens on a 2003 225WE? I unscrewed the inside trim ring. The outer trim and lens seem to be inserted from the outside and secured with ?adhesive?. I know these are the factory portlights. I didn't want to force it out. Do I need to just pop it out? Is it secured by adhesive? :huh:

yep, you need some force and knife or scraper
outer plastic ring snaps onto lens (hope that nobody used any sealer to install it, but replacement are still available from sr dealers) and lens is screwed in and siliconed to hull
if your boat uses stainless steel portholes - they are mounted to hull with silicone - knife and putty knife becoming handy tools

Thanks, I will try to give it a shot this weekend! I have purchased the replacement lens(s) and trim rings.
