I looking at replacing the prop currently on my 175BR. The prop chart says the stock one is a 14.5X21. I'm looking for better holeshot. I have heard the Highfive props are nice but I'm not sure which one to get. Also, do I need to buy a new hub kit or can I use the one on there already?

Get a 19P high five and it will use the same hub kit you have. But if it were me, I would get another hub kit and keep the 21P prop in the boat with its own hub kit as a spare. You can use the 21P for cruising long distance and the high five for pulling and all around fun.

I just bought a 1997 175BR. It came with an 18P. I went to a 17P for more power. We either pull tubes/skiiers or just idel around looking at lake houses. Perhaps more typical when on smaller lakes.

The 17P gives out of the hole power and crusing around at low speeds does not require a high pitch prop. We do need to watch the RPM's at full throttle with no load behind.
