Prop shaft broke...replacement issues?

Has anyone successfully submitted a claim to their insurance company for the cost of replacing a broken shaft?

Grrr... my starboard shaft snapped mid-way into the keyway. Dropped the prop in 9' of water, which we'll recover. Amazingly enough, we were approaching Snead Island Boatworks when it happened and drifted up to the dock with no drama. No apparent damage to the glass but my kids picked up a couple new adjectives and metaphors.
