Qicksilver 5.0 generator problem...HELP!

I have a Quicksilver 5.0 genny. It starts and runs great. My problem is when I put any load on it, whether it be a television or my A/C, the RPM's start to fluctuate then about 10 seconds later the internal breaker pops and all electricity goes off. The breaker resets itself and then you can make it all happen again. The manual I have just says when this happens there is a problem with the generator and take it to a dealer. Does anyone know what is happening?

Some more information on your boat, number of hours on the generator and its history (last tune up for example) would be helpful. Unfortunately, it could be a number of things.
