Hello All,
Simple question.. I have a 93 Searay with a 454 I/O which I dry dock at the Marina.. I took the boat out this Sunday and got to the Marina late. I was unable to run the fresh water through the engine, and now my baby is sitting there on the rack without it being flushed.. My question is.. I am going to flush the engine this Saturday meaning it will be sitting there for almost a week.. Should I be loosing sleep over this or am I ok.. What can happen to it for leaving it for a week without flush..

It's not a habit you want to get into, but don't sweat it. It'll be fine.

Thanks Lazy Daze..
New to boating but was nto sure.. As you can imagine I have had this in mind since Sunday lol.. Thanks again

A few times is not gonna hurt anything inside.....do it a lot and it will be a problem.

I'd worry about not rinsing off the drive and things like that more than flushing the motor.

Good news all around... Can sleep good tonight.. The Marina rinses the drive and hull and I was able to rinse cabin, and rest of boat.. Only engine was left with salt..

I use this product when flushing engine.

I often go three or four weeks/trips without flushing (we get back to marinia after they are closed) - NOT my preferance to go that long but................... we enjoy the evening cruises.
