Radar Arch ramoval DA37 or EC37

Hi Guys,
Looking toimport a 37 DA or EC to West Australia and the shipping agent has asked me to remove the Radar Arch and also see if the swim platform can be removed without any major interference to the structure - if anyone knows if this is a major job or can be done by 2 capable people please let me know

Also can any of these boat be trailered, where the boar will be penned is remote and there is no boat-lift facility and we need to yake the boat out during storms and king tides, it wont be used for road transport.

The answer is "yes". The arch is routinely removed for shipping, and is bolted on. Bolts are removed after removing the upholstered side panels inside the arch. Removal of all the electronics mounted on top of the arch is a bigger job. Also, the swim platform can be removed, and on a boat this size, it is typically held on with about 16 large bolts. When reinstalling the platform, be sure to use sealant to prevent leaks. This issue would be more easily addressed if we knew which specific model you were considering.

Thanks for the reply, the model I am looking at is a 96 Sundancer as well as a 98 EC - most likely leaning more towards the Sundancer as we will be spending more time in a bay overnight than hunting and gathering!
