I had my mechanic down and he noticed my radiator caps were no good so he replaced them with new 7lb caps. The old ones were 16lb... I understand the higher the pressure the higher the boiling point. I ran the boat for a couple of hours over the weekend (with the new caps) and everything seemed to run normal.
Does anyone know of any potential problems running with the lower PSI caps?
