Scott Cambra is a member here that will make you new ones.
His company is Vector Imaging.
He can do anything you need at an amazing price.

I have a SRV 245 and will be doing the same as you with the dash, you are ahead of me tho as you already know the gauges you are putting in. Whe I pulled my panel back I found another gauge all wrapped in tape............ looks like someone replace the volt or amp meter and left the old one connected as well - not to sure which - will investigate further. Here is a picture of my dash today..

Look up Scott at www.vectorled.com
It is a lot of labor on your part.
Great upgrade in the look and feel of your boat when done.

Steffen - that looks really good. What material did you use? Did you label the switches with anything?

I was thinking of replacing mine too. Mine isn't so bad of a layout, so prob. just new gauges, vinyl, and the backer that they mount through. I know it's not real creative, but it would freshen up the dash pannel.

thanks travis, its a high pressure laminat, wich is stuck on marine plywood. I have removed the original switches together with the original labels out of the old one, drilled new holes and build in into the new dashboard.

this is the company's website, where i got the material
http://www.fundermax.com

and this is the material i used
http://www.fundermax.com/decor.en.88.htm

and here you have the contact in the states

have fun!

I'm almost ready to take my dash panels out and send them to Scott to be re-done, as well (mine are faded). Just as an FYI, Scott can cut labels into the panel for the switches. Then you can get electroluminescent tape to stick on the back side. The labels would then light up for viewing at night.

Steffen - those panels look nice!

steffen, panels look great, how expensive are the panels?,what did you use for the edges and how did you cut it?.wondering if i should do it myself or send panels to scott.

hey captain, i'm happy to read it. i have paid about 100 € (about 150 $) for the material and the wood. i have use a marine plywood with a thickness of nearly 3/8" (10mm9 and epoxy resin to stuck it. i have cut it with a jigsaw with a fine sawblade (i hope, i have found the right words..) on the backside. after it i use a sandpaper to finish the edges and paint it with a black varnish. when i have done the cutouts for the gauges, i have stuck masking tape on it to protect the panish from scratches. thats all...

Hello, Just wanted to let everyone know what a great job Scott from Vector Imaging has done. I sent him my gauge panel from my 1989 250 Sundancer.I sent it to him in 2 pieces with the two top corners missing. He e-mailed a diagram as to what the new one would look like and I told him to go ahead and make it. Well I got it today and it looks great and fits perfect, Scott is amazing, He had another customer that needs the same panel for the same boat so now Scott has a template for the 1989 250 Sundancer. Now I have to send him my switch panel. Great job Scott...

He gave me a good price because he wanted mine as a template. He usually gets $175.00 plus $20.00 shipping and it was packed real well bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
