Hello,

I want to remove my standard TV in the forward stateroom.
Removed the two screw's in the wooden ground plate.
But I still can't get the TV out.

Somebody got a idea?

Peter

Peter, I pulled mine out 3 months ago... I have a small wardrobe closet on port side, I opened the closet and took out the cedar access panel to get to the back of the TV, under that access panel was another one to get to the screws that held the piece of wood in place that the TV was mounted to. Unscrewed lower set of screws and then was able to tip TV over and get the 2nd set of screws out... Once TV was off of the piece of wood it came right out of the viewing hole. Installed a nice Toshiba 19" w/DVD on the left side (which is why I picked this one-the right side of TV is up against port side of boat) Circuit City $369 on sale. I don't know if this helps your application, but hey I tried...... Cheers, Mark

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your help.
The problem is in the 360DA, that there is a difficult access to the rear of the TV.
I can only feel with my hand, but can't see what I am doing.

I don't know if somebody with a 340 or same access knows what to do?

Regards Peter

"I can only feel with my hand, but can't see what I am doing."

I can't believe nobody touched this one.....

Peter, send an e-mail or call SeaRay customer Service on this one- unless you can get someone with 360 like yours... Some times you have to remove a trim "muff" to get those TV's out, I have removed several on different models but NOT a 360. Good Luck!

Peter:

Did you look along the inside walls of the locker next to the TV. I have a similar setup in my 410DA and there are access panels on the inside of the locker's wall. The screws on the access panel have those little plastic caps over them. Just pop the caps off and the screws are accessable. I don't know if your's is the same, but it's worth a look.

If not, I agree with the suggestion above to call 1-800-SRBOATS....They helped me when I went to remove the TV over my fridge and they even emailed some detailed instructions with pictures.

good luck.

Thanks guy's for your reaction.

Yes, I took the access panel out from the locker next to the TV.
But like I say, I can put my hand in it and feel the back of the TV.
But I don't know how it is fixed...

I don't know if I can call these guy's from customer service from the Netherlands.
Think I send them a mail.

Thanks Peter.

WOW...times must be REALLY bad...I tried the 800 number for you Pete and no body answered....the canned voice message basically said to send an email with your question (for boats over 35') to myboats@searay.com or may have been miboats@searay.com I couldn't make it out on the phone. I guess there's no more mano y mano...

good luck

Thanks Dom,

I send a mail to both e-mail addresses.
Let you know what I hear from them.

Peter

Posted this also in a other thread, but I post it here also for the answer on the question.

So it's just one screw that is locking the TV
