Sea Ray dealer boat show

Did you complete a guest card, and if so, did they follow up with you?
What the hell is a guest card ? I hope your not telling me that in your neck of the woods you have to fill out a card with info every time you go to a boat show? ....Thank God they don't do that up here!:smt100

Bridog,
If it were my operation there would be 100% information capture. Any person or group of people that stepped foot on my display would have their information captured. I would follow up with a thank you call and email and secure a relationship. This may lead to a sale in the next week, month, year, very well beyond or never.
This information capture is the least of the worrys of the group that put together the show I attended over the weekend. It was really bad.
And by up here I guess you mean New Jersey? There isn't much they do well in NJ. That's why I'm not there anymore...

:smt043:smt043Yeah your right about that. There are a few vendors up here who still make you fill out "card's." I'm still getting e-mails about the crap they tried selling me 10 years later. Now when they ask I just fill out some random phone number and address. I will do the research...not them.

I’m not going to go into detail here, based on your tone (joke), but moreover based on the fact that I am trying to figure out how to cover my mortgage this month…

BUT, if you don’t get potential customer information and follow up with them, you have a problem, especially when you are talking about individual units that range from 20K to well over a MILLION Smackers.

This doesn’t mean that you need to attack every single person that takes their shoes off, but if you have someone that is even remotely interested, you better get their F^cking information.

Keep in mind, I’m not a sales guy, at all, but if the folks I employee don’t get a guest card, they will be looking for another job, soon…

C-

Hall Marine in Charleston has always been nice to me. I spend my money at their Greenville dealership as that is the area I am from. When ever I stop in to the Charleston dealership they are always cordial to me even though I do not remember ever spending a penny in Charleston. Deni also makes sure I can go on the trips or attend the get togethers.
