Visiting the Geneva, NY area this weekend
Parent's Weekend at Hobart College

Any suggestions of places to visit?
Good restaurants?

Any marinas nearby to at least walk the docks and view some boats?

Thanks
Dan

How was the weekend? Grew up in the area and have family that live on Seneca Lake and keep the boat at the State Park Marina near the canal.

For breakfast we enjoy The Captain's Table" has about 20 tables and very small town feel. For dinner we enjoy an Italian joint down RT14 south of H&WS College. It is on the right hand side of the road. There is also another restaurant just south of the college called Ports, it is almost across the street from Smith Boy's Marina. If money is no object, you can go to (the restaurant at the castle). Walk up to the second floor and you can get a glass of wine out of the wall. Almost like a drinking fountain but wine comes out.

I enjoy this area as it is my ol stomping grounds. Hoping to bring the boat up next summer for some caneling along side my uncle's 40' Carver. I can pretend to be his dinghy.

I've been there for a wedding reception too... Mine! Beautiful September day 10 years ago, nice classy place right on Seneca lake.

My wifes from Penn Yan, about 15 miles south, on Keuka Lake.

Can't help you much on restaurants etc., just wanted to chime in.
