I was poking around the bilge today trying to find the wire bundle. I could not locate them. Are they within the black wiring tubing? Do I need to cut that open to expose the wires? I anyone had pictures that would be great.

This is on my280.

Thanks!

That's where I found them on the forward EIM. Very close to it , folded up and clearly labeled

In the bilge or at the EIM? Did you have to remove the EIM to see it?

My experience was with the forward EIM, of which there are 2, which is under the throttles. It was bundled up in the harness attached to it.
You should post on the 280 thread, not sure about the aft EIM

There are also spare circuits in the AFT EIM located in the bilge behind the batteries. You will see the huge plug where the wiring harness plugs in to the EIM. Peel open the split loom the covers the wire bundle in this area (I had to remove some electrical tape). You will find the pigtails about 4-7 inches from the main connector. It will have a butt connector on it and the wire will be labeled with circuit number and designation. You will have to look good and separate all the wires to find it.

Got it. That's what I was wondering...if the bundle was in the split loom covering. Got it now...thanks guys.
