SPEAKERS in cockpit

I have the Clarion 6 1/2 inch round speakers on my 340DA, in the cockpit, that are shot because they are old and the cones are deteriorated.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive place to find replacements for these speakers?

Also, does anyone have an alternative brand they could recommend? (e.g., Sony or Kenwood, etc........?)

I replaced the factory speakers with Polk Audio DB651's. They were inexpensive and sound great. I got two sets for 100 bucks. It was a buy one get one deal. Crutchfield's has them for $59.00 a set.

Another vote for the Polk DB651s, I had the Clarions and did a search here on CSR and the overwelming choice was the Polks. Ordered them from Crutchfield. Installed them a couple days ago and boy do they sound great. I was going to paint the grills white but the "metal gray" grills add a little bit of contrast to my mostly white cockpit. They have some kind of marine rating............don't know what that means.

I replaced all my cockpit speakers after only 1 season as I wanted to upgrade my stereo. They are like new and you can have all of them for $50.00 plus shipping. If interested let me know. They are original searary equipment on my 2006 340 SDA.
