I know im jumping way ahead of myself, but was just thinking of something I'll need if the boat deal goes through, and thats a spotlight.
On my last boat I bought a GoLight, I overall liked the light, worked well, bright and easy to install. But those lights are big and bulky for sitting on top of a bowrail. I see most people have these types of lights down at my marina http://www.iboats.com/Ray-Line-reg-...63163078--session_id.310129724--view_id.38820
Hopefully they have cheaper ones then that the golight was only around $160 :wow:
But either way from what I gather people make there own bow rail bracket to hold the light,I could come up with something for that, but just wondering how the wires are ran from inside the boat to the bow rail?

I loved my bow mounted go light,All I really used it for was to spot the markers on the way back up the river. I had one mounted on the dash at the helm and that was about useless,It lit up everything but what I wanted to see. I have a handheld spotlight but it weighs a ton and was hard to use if you were alone. So as im going over bills and future boating expenses I dont think the bow mounted light will be in the budget this season,so what could everyone recommend on the cheaper side that is light and bright, maybe one of those 12v cig lighter deals?
