I'm looking to do a day trip to St. Michaels. I've got a 30' Sea Ray 10.5 beam. Any suggestions for day dockage?

Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Also, St. Michaels Marina does hourly dockage on a first come, first served basis. Alternative: anchor and call the water taxi on 68.

If you get lucky and go when it is not too crowded, try docking at the Crab Claw restaurant. They will let you stay for a few hours after you eat there – especially during the week.

Weekends, even this time of year can be very crowded. The last time I went, there was a 44 Sedan Bridge tied up in my special spot at the museum.

Hey Jim, I resemble that remark!

Remember, first come - first served.

P.S. we'll be in St. Micahels tomorrow at the St. M Marina in front of Foxy's... stop by if you're around.

Tim,
Can’t make it this weekend, as we have plans to sea trial a 420 dancer. I blame this on Skip because of his rave reviews. But we will be there at the end of the month for the oyster snorting or is it slurping?

Yep, the 420 is very nicely done and likely to be our next boat. I think I may have just been converted to the diesel side, because when those twin Cummins spooled up, I had something resembling a religious experience.

We now have all winter to look and then find a new name.
