I have a 1993 240 Over nighter with a 454 big block alpha 1 drive.. For some reason the boat is only maxing out at around 3600 RPM giving me a top speed of about 26 Knots..
Last weekend I changed the full filter and saw a small improvement but not much.. I went filled it with gas and after running it for a few minutes the problem got even worst..
Any ideas of what may be going on here.. the thing is that the boat always starts right up.. When its outside of the water or I put it in neutral and give it gas the engine sounds perfect and revs ok but once in gear it does not...
