V Drives vs. Sterndrives Performance Question

I don't know about those Alpha drives, but SeaCore BIII drives are waterproof, bullet proof, shock proof, rust proof, friction free, maintenance free, and essentially indestructable. :grin:

They also improve your sex life, double your size, triple your stamina and make all the ladies drool over you. Yeah! Going to get me some Sea Core!

Not a big fan of Merc's new technology. My dad's 290 Amberjack had both Bravo III's fail with the first 5 years, luckily he bought an extended warranty, which only pays for rebuilt drives. He paid the difference for the new style Bravo III's which have been better. But he maintained the drives far ahead of Merc's schedule. I think the new Merc technology is interesting, but I prefer the simplicity of my V-Drives.
