Vacuflush Help!!!

when i depress the petal there is no vacum pressure and i dont hear the seal recharging either. has anyone had this happen before and what was needed to fix it? and yes the fresh water pump is on and working fine

Is the head turned on in the DC electrical panel?
Is the light on by the key in the head?
Is the key turned to on?

If the vacumn pump does not come on that is your problem. Why it does not come on I have no idea. If the pump runs forever your duck bill valves probably need replacing.

Never hurts to check the fuse. The vacuum is created by the pump. Can you hear it running? If pump gets clogged as conventional toilet paper will do over time, then can get stuck, blow fuse. I've also had a piece of the pump drive linkage break.

Agree with Northern, check to see if the vacuum pump is running. If it is, more than likely it's time for new Duckbill valves.

PS: Was it a breaker or fuse? Where was the fuse?

Glad to hear all is working. I used to have a lot of problems with my vacuflush on previous boat with the seal, etc. No worries on this unit. Those things just are taken for granted until they quite working !!
