I just purchased a 99 270 Sundancer SE and on our way back in today the water heater started to leak. Once back at the dock I took a closer look and one of the hoses from the engine broke off at the tank and was all corroded. I started to attempt to remove the water heater and got everything off except the last bolt in the back.
Someone put electrical tape over the bolt/screw but I can barely get my hand back there let alone a phillips screwdriver. I tried to find an access panel somewhere but could not find anyway to get at it. It is mounted on the port side just forward of the fresh water tank.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this damn thing out so I can get back to boating????
