Where do u get your Mercruiser parts?

I am in the Annapolis area. Just wondering where everyone shops locally for best prices and inventory for parts for their Mercruiser engines??? Aloso curious what internet sites you shop for Mercruiser parts online????

I've been to the local MM (sea ray) parts department, and the parts manager gives me 10% off on my purchases. For most parts, it's easier to get from him than online, except for the plugs, Kohler Generator Kit, transmission fluid, and the mercruiser Synthetic Engine Oil, which I get from Boat Owners Warehouse.

Anyone know where you can get an exploded parts view? This way I would know what parts I need to order. I'm looking to replace many of the cooling hoses on my RWC 1989 7.4. It's near impossible unless you can see the hose and part number.

With my old boat, I used mercruiserparts.com. Their website allowed you to lookup parts numbers right from the catalog with exploded views. I found their pricing to be the best on line (but it has been awhile since I used them).

I have always used www.marinepartsexpress.com.

I did some cross comparisons against prices from the sites listed in the previous listing above. In all cases I looked at, marinepartsexpress was definitely lower.

They ship all over the world. I'm in NJ and my stuff usually takes only a day or two to reach me.

Thanks Ron and Lake Erie, thats what I was looking for! By the way Ron, I'm gonna buy the parts to install the flush/winterize setup you installed between strainer and seacock. One thing I noticed is your exhaust hoses go outboard before the strainers and mine run right over them. Hopefully I will have enough space to put them in, they look like what I was looking for.
