I have owned my boat for two seasons now and would like to have oil analysis done on the engines, transmission and genset.
To compare with the purchase samples that were taken at the purchase survey.
Would I just go to Cummins and get the kits or is there some on line place that I can order the kits?

I don't know what Cummins does but my Cat dealer sells the kits for about 15 bucks. You take the samples and either mail them in or drop them off at the dealer. Then they will either mail the results or E-mail them to you whichever you specify.
As for your comparison, different labs show different results so take that into consideration.

Matt - I used a company out of MA.

He is in your neck of the woods, give them a try.

I go thru my Cummins dealer and they e-mail the report to me. Cost is around $18/kit incl postage. I believe it's from Petroleum Tech @ 616-698-9399.

I'm sure there's probably cheaper kits and analysis around but I am satsfied with their service.
