It's getting to be that time to put her away and since it's my first year...... I'm going to suck up some antifreeze at the strainers and wondering if anybody has a clue of how much antifreeze it's going to take to accomplish this. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Five gallons per side.
I fill a five gallon bucket with pink antifreeze, then position a helper outside the boat to signal when pink stuff begins to flow from the exhaust, whcih is the trigger to shut down the engine. You will be amazed at how quickly the Sherwood pumps suck up five gallons. Be sure that the hose you are using from the strainer cap to the bucket of anitfreeze is reinforced-the suctiion created by the water pump will collapse a cheap hose fairly quickly.
