Alright, here is what went down yesterday and today. I pulled my 320 out to service the starboard outdrive. Changed the gimbal bearing, all bellows, water intake hose. Non eventful other than the typical pain in the but working on twin 496 motors. Buttoned it up this morning, put on the muffs, hit the starter switch, the audable alarm rang for a few seconds as normal and then she fired right up. Warmed it up, checked for normal water temps, no funny sounds, all seemed right. Cleaned up the bildge, washed the boat and backed it in the water. Tryed to start the port motor and she barely turned over. I pushed the emergency button to get her going and she fired up. Went to do the same with the starboard motor, pushed the start button, no audible alarm. Would not start. Pushed the emergency start button and then the start button, the audible alarm sounded and the starboard motor fired up fine. As soon as i release the emergency start button, she dies. I am stumped. Note that while sitting on the trailer yesterday and today, it was not plugged into shorepower. Both refridges were on, wife watching t.v. First thought is battery's for starboard engines are quite dead. The boat is now plugged into shore power in hopes the batteries are just to tired. Also note the are 2013 batteries. At this point, I am guessing. Strange that the audible alarm will not sound. I also checked all the electrical connectors on the top of the motor just in case knocked something loose but nothing aparent.
