Looking for advice when talking to the sellers broker. Assuming the boat is clean for its age, lower than average hours, but needs cockpit carpet replacement, rear lounge seat cushions reupholestered, pocket door is off the guides with possibly more than just off the guides, and most definitely needs a cut, polish, and wax out of the water, among other smaller items.
Obviously I don't want to pay more than I need to, but also need the broker to work on my behalf as the purchaser.
Would it be reasonable to offer 10% less than the asking price?
