just bought a boat in florida and trying to get it moved up the coast to new jersey, its a 2007 40 dancer, any recommendations on a hauler? thanks !!!

Wow awesome really appreciate the information and good luck on your trip, can’t wait to see the fuel numbers for that runDoing that run this coming week - Miami to Brick - In a boat close in size - I'll report back on how it goes (hours, conditions, etc)....and I'm pretty sure someone else has played with the dancer before you....but I get what your saying - there are captains out there that will treat the boat like their own....one of them frequents this board from time to time and has an intimate knowledge of all things sea ray.....his name rhymes with dusty lol.....another option may be flying in and doing part of the trip with a captain, and letting him or her finish the trip solo.....but back to your question - When trucking, I have used Greg Chin of Aqua toys out of Merritt island FL - first class guy and operation - he moves a lot of boats for manufacturers

Day 3 - st Augustine to Georgetown, SC 500 gallons
Day 4 - Georgetown to Oriental, NC 300 gallons
Day 5 - oriental to Hampton, VA 300 gallons
Day 6 - Hampton to cape may, nj 250 gallons
This boat is 50' with pods - burns about 43gph at 27kts - time on water ranged from 6 to 12 hours per day
