Thanks, and if @KevinC or anyone knows where I can purchase a replacement I would be up for that--doesn't have to be from Canada. Cheers and thanks for any assistance!
The bimini cover for my 89 220DA has reached the end of its life. A local canvas company has an 8-month (!!!) wait list to manufacture replacements and hey, it's summer! I have checked a few sites online and the 89 220DA is not a choice that comes up :D.
Oh yeah... I am looking for some fast-on dry suits for my wife and me "just in case"--most boating fatalities on Harrison are due to hypothermia. Harrison is deep and glacier-fed; except for some parts of the southern tip (and around the hot springs) it isn't swimmer friendly.
I haven't checked the boating safety app and I am sure it is good, but I would add that the waters you intend to frequent really dictate what "else" you might need. In my neck of the woods, the water is *very* cold in most of the lake (very deep, glacier-fed) so while good PFDs might seem...
Don't beat yourself up about that... British Columbia, Canada is a huge province with a wide range of boating possibilities. Vancouver Island, the entire Pacific Coastline, never mind some great inland lakes. Harrison Lake is 60 kms/ 37 miles long with a ton of places to explore.
