i bet the antennae is already installed. On my 06 I believe it was under the helm and you could see it from the storage compartment. Good luck on the cushions.
On my 370 I added an 'in hull' ( now, not a THRU hull ) in about the general location as where the thru hulls were located on it. It worked well. I assumed (hope) on the 330 it would be about the same location. I'll test spots anyway, but while it was on the hard I wanted to add depth to my...
Lot of factors go into the station wagon effect. Speed, wind, amount of canvas up. I've always carried a detector on the helm that has a numerical readout. The 370EC was worse than the 330. It's interesting to watch tho and a real eye opener to a lot of passengers. The center vent window does...
At least I can go visit mine. But being on the hard for repairs still isn't the same. Hopefully all the work will be done about the time we can get back into marinas.
Always had mine up on the water on my 240 even at speed and in the Oklahoma wind. A trick I learned from here was to put a half twist on the straps to prevent them from 'singing' .
Definitely get a survey. I had the same concerns as you on my 330. A 14 year old boat with only 165 hours on the motors and 87 on the genny. The single previous owner had proper maintenance done, survey went well and I'm the owner of what looks and runs like a brand new boat.
Lol on the dive bar!
The corp was prepared. A few days ago they loaded all their endangered ranger offices and entrance stations on flatbeds to haul out. I don't know if this was after the '07 high water but I don't remember hem doing that before. Keystone should reach its highest level ever.
Can't really add anything to this other than putting an accent on the low hanging fruit. I'm in the medical equipment field and the scrutiny related to anything medical is getting more onerous every year for minutia. A similar story to Franks happened to my Uncle years ago. Never did find...
Between the tornado and the high waters I'm getting a s#|+ load done around the lake house...
We're 12' above 'normal' (or more like 16 compared to where we've been the last 3 years) and expected to crest at 31'. The corp is letting out what they can without flooding Tulsa and the next lakes...
