John - I think its a 3-hour maximum on transient. Might want to check with them. If you wanted 4 hours or more it might be worth reserving a slip for the night for $100 or so and not have to be on a schedule. OR...just stay the night =)
No origination costs and the interest is in line with most banks. At least it was when I did something similar a few years ago. Within 1 day I had 100K in my account. It was painless. There were no prepayment penalties either. Paid it off in a month when the other transaction cleared.
You could take out a loan from Lightstream with no lien, pay off your lender and get free and clear title, and then pay off the Lightstream loan when the buyer pays you.
If you want to get a slip in ego alley or a mooring ball there contact the harbor master. There is an online form but its way easier to just call them. https://www.annapolis.gov/165/Harbormaster
So every boat on this lake has a setup like this? I find that hard to believe. Are you sure they arent referring to discharging of waste water/sewage only?
I have a related question...on our boat, with a walkthrough windshield, do I need to be concerned with people accessing the bow when the radar is running? I would like to have my radar on all the time as well but I have always been worried about this.
