    Where is the water going?

So since you are in a water problems thread maybe you are interested in this. I did try the above, and that isn't what led to a solution, but I learned something anyway. My tech says that my boat, and most boats, have water systems rated for 20-30 psi. My particular marina's shore water...

    Where is the water going?

PROBLEM SOLVED So according to the tech, the pressure relief valve at the Hot Water Heater was somehow stuck in the open position. He has ordered a new one, but in the meantime the old one (having been removed and examined) is now 'unstuck' and working, since I no longer lose fresh water. As...

    Where is the water going?

Hi guys sorry about silence (notice post #30 I was away on other matters). 3 things have been learned: 1. I had a tech over to install a new impeller and he took an initial look..my cooling system is closed loop, so what I thought was the most likely answer seems to have been ruled out. 2...

    Where is the water going?

You guys make a lot of sense on this. I am going to try this bypass. Unfortunately I am not back at the boat for about 10 days but I am anxious to try this.

    Where is the water going?

it does not. if the water pump is turned off, the fresh tank retains its level.

    Where is the water going?

Yep, right tank. After filling the lights say full. 60-90min later it is at 3/4. Another 30-60 min later it is at 1/2. I agree it is a LOT of water. Since buying the boat i have pumped out once but somehow filled the fresh water 6 times. It is so puzzling. The system HAS to be leaking...

    2023 SeaRay 320

Couldn't agree more. I am new to cruisers but not boats and outboards just make SO much sense. If I was buying new it is the only way I'd go, but yeah swim platform is nice.

    Where is the water going?

Great ideas from everyone, thanks I am on the boat now and trying stuff It does not lose fresh water volume if the water pump is off With the pump turned on, it does cycle for 30 seconds every five minutes or so. I would think think this indicates a leak somewhere but damned if i can find it...

New to Sea Rays, love it already

Hi All CSR members have been great with my questions already. Awesome community. Just got a 2001 Sundancer 310. Boating on Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching. Will do some travel on the Trent-Severn. Grew up on and around boats. As a kid my parents had a 40' Schooner and then a 26' Trojan...

Aha, that's the trick. I wondered why there wasn't a manual for a fairly popular year and model

    Manual needed

Hello all So I have a lot to learn about this boat. Unfortunately it came with no documentation of any kind. THe SeaRay.com site doesn't even have a manual for my boat! 2001 Sundancer 310. V-Drive. I tried a google search but wasn't successful. Does anyone have a manual for this boat? Thanks

    Where is the water going?

So new question then - Does this mean I can only run AC while on shore power, and that I have to connect water to it sonewhere?
