I did the same. After thousands of band-aid dollars, I got a Westerbeke 6.5 and can't be happier.

Power outlet is in the ceiling above the TV behind a trim panel. Take out the 12 screws around the perimeter to see it. The coax cable and DVD connections are here, too. The port wiper motor is also in there for future needs.

I have them on my 38 as well. I find that if I tie up at the gas dock on the port side, I will be missing the dripper guards. I always try to remember to tie off on the starboard side each time.

I used the suspenders, too. This adds another bungee in the center that cinches all of them to the middle. I'm hoping that it will draw the sheet under the mattress and give a snug fit.

With hopes of keeping the mattress topper in place and the sheets on an irregularly shaped mattress, I have ordered the Bed Scrunchie. I'm hoping that making the bed will not look like a balancing act and simultaneous tug-of-war with a fitted sheet. Will report back once it arrives.

They are held on by plastic mounting "trees". Use a plastic trim removal tool and pry them straight off.

Sorry. I have no idea. Usually there are two kinds of mounts, splined or no spline. Maybe start there.
