Depending on your head unit, Clarion offers a wireless remote control that is supposed to be waterproof and float. It is a nice alternative if you do not want to run the wire, or a nice compliment to the wired version.
I use Terro spider killer spray in orange can on lines and all around dock about once a week. Very good. No spiders. Have not used directly on cover but I assume it would be fine.

Replaced clarion cm1622 speakers with sony xs-mp1621 speakers. Direct drop in for 1997 270 sundancer. Fit depth, hole, and even drilled screw holes.
Not sure. Maybe set unit at 70 and disconnect power for a while. Then reconnect power to see if it resets. Otherwise, maybe check these links for info.

Might be hi ps / high pressure. Not enough water or air flow. You may have sucked up something in the water intake. I had it once, went cruising for the day and everything was fine when I reconnected the power. There are other threads on here that tell about checking strainer and pump.
I need to replace the stock Clarion speakers in the cockpit. Can anyone recommend a direct drop in replacement? JL 6.5" did not fit because they are too deep.

They are screwed to the bottom of the seat which is some type of plywood for lack of a better term. I did not realize the pull out seat was fiberglass, along with the sunpad that makes it even better. I still have the legs. I just need to remount them so they can support weight. I have the...
