Hi! Looking at 2007 Sundancer 340

As for the price, I am a bit skeptical that there isn’t something majorly wrong. Most all 340’s we’ve looked at are $130k+. So we will see…

I have a friend who is looking for a diesel cruiser under 40'. Unfortunately he had to stop his search due to some financial issues. Have you seen this boat in Newport Beach? I know its not a Sea Ray. It is also not a Cruisers Yacht as advertised, but is a Cranchi 33' that appears to be in good shape.

If the 340 fails the survey, you might want to take a look at this.

Hope things go well. If you do not understand something o_O, ask questions. Require the surveyor to note this information in the report.

Good luck with your purchase.
We bought a 2006 last November. We are enjoying the boat a ton. There was some deferred maintenance that I’m working through, but we are still boating as much as we can. Spent the weekend in Catalina a couple of weeks ago and can’t wait to go back. We are moored in Alamitos bay at Marina Pacifica currently and on the wait list for the city docks since we are a bit oversized for our current slip.
Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

I don't know about everyone else on here, but I'm waiting to hear whether this ended up being the deal of the century, or a pass.

Well, as it turns out it was so much the “deal of the century” that the seller canceled the contact before we did the survey. So we never even got to see the boat. They have it relisted for $130k.

The search has continued and we are actually under contract again! This time the price is more realistic, the seller is being cooperative, and we are conducting the survey on Friday. The boat is in Portland, OR and we are in Los Angeles (Long Beach) so shipping is gonna be a bit, we believe it is worth it, assuming it is as good condition as it appears. It has been in fresh water for the past 10+ years, so that’s a plus, right?

Definite plus
