Not getting into the debate here. There are different ways to repair that. I chose to pull the drive, pull the engine, replace the transom assembly. It never leaked a drop after that, and steering was nice and tight. Other than the expense, no regrets.

I know on my 01, the 2 ignition keys were the same number, but the cabin door was a different number. I ordered 2 extras of each when I purchased the boat and put them in my safe at home.
If I remember correctly, I believe I saw where the dealer, or original owner had written the key numbers...

I used the existing antenna, works fine. I may consider replacing it this summer if I do not sell, just because it is starting to look a little weathered.

Congrats! When you venture down below the 301 bridge, let me know. If you have an iPhone or iPad, I would recommend getting navionics, so you can familiarize yourself with the area before hand.
