Well, yea. I would assume if they SEE something on the scanner, they would want to check it out. So that part jives.
What doesn't work is how they are doing that, and the impact on the people they are doing it to.
The problem with Moore taking on an issue - is that what you get is what Moore believes is reality. Presented in a way that the general public takes it as fact.
So, I think I'd rather see the Coen brothers do it. Then nobody would assume it is fact.
According to PayScale, the average screener makes about $37K per year. But now they get additional benefits - like feeling up anyone that looks interesting.
My wife and I saw this, and couldn't help but think, these are all of the people that never made it on Americas Funniest Home Videos, because their tricks worked!
If your boat is in the water, then something like BoatSafe is all you will need. If your boat is on a lift (that is, in the slip but NOT sitting in the water), then I think you need to winterize.
That may improve it some (just out of sheer awareness and backlash).
But the private screeners still have to follow TSA guidelines - including pat-downs when required. They don't get to opt out of security, or choose their own guidelines or operating procedures.
True enough. But not all airline bombings were. And not all terror attacks in this country were either. I'm not saying Muslim extremists aren't a concern. They are a major concern. But we can't take our eye off the rest of the nut jobs either. Or Timothy McVey and Richard Reid and the like...
While I agree that we all assume where the primary threat is coming from - I don't agree that profiling is the way to address it. Whether you agree with the principle of profiling, or not. And I'm not saying I do or don't, I'm saying it would be ineffective and unreliable.

I don't consider myself a racist. And I don't think all muslim's are out to kill the infidel. But I do realize there are radical muslims that would just as soon kill us all. So should the rules be skewed to look closer at this segment? Probably. But they aren't stupid people. And will...
Do some searches. People have done it - but it is VERY hard to get up. The glue is apparantly VERY well bonded - and you end up basicall scraping it all up. It doesn't seem to tear up in sections or chunks.
I've not tried it - but I have basically the same boat as you - and at a glance it...
Jim - Hey - looking good. I think you are going to want something between your support poles and your e-glass. The direct contact from the supports will not be kind to the e-glass.
Any of the major brands are good - just check to see that they have a wired remote - and that the model of radio you are looking at supports the wired remote. I went with Pioneer when I changed, simply because I liked the mix of features it offered. The bluetooth audio streaming from my iphone...
So, I'm mixed on this...
First, I think the guy is a troll. How many of you start your video recorder before you send it through security? It's like the guy was expecting something to happen. Or, perhaps, encouraging it.
Second, I applaud the efforts of anyone who is trying to keep our...
