    Delaware bay

The trip is easy but there are a few item to watch so it does not turn into 'hellaware' because Delaware is so shallow you have to hit tides right. 2 to 4 rollers in the ocean can turn into 4 to 6 in the bay with very close intervals. Best we you head our of c&d you check forecast and tides...

Transom Hydraulic lift and fwd ballast

I have a sealift platform lift on my boat. Works great as it makes carrying the dink effortless. Question I have has anyone added ballast forward and if so have you seen improved performance; i.e., trims better, pick up on fuel, speed, handling etc. I was thinking adding 200# to anchor...

    Qsb5.9 380

I have the same issue. I hit 2950 on my port and 2970 on my stbd. Fuel burn running at 2600 rpm clean bottom is 15 Gph, 15.4 port. I appreciate the specs. Added note on my boat is a sealift hydraulic platform. I have a light dink and try to weigh/trim correctly.

Raw Water Flush Cummins QSB 5.9

I put the hose right into the strainer and it worked well. I also tried my father-in-laws sea flush connected to a 5 gal bucket. Preferred hose right in strainer to sea flush for fresh water but did use the sea flush system for pink.

    Sundancer 40 vs 42

Wanted to add my two cents. We are a family of 4 with 11 year old girl and 9 year old boy. Our family typically spends60+ nights on our 2001 310. We like the Sundancers since we love spending time in the cockpit. We started to look at 42/44 as the 48 was just out of our price range. We opted...
