my engines run normally around 145 to 150 this weekend my port engine went from 145 to almost 200 degrees. I checked the strainer it was clear and water flow to the strainer was the same as the starboard side. I'm thinking it might be a stuck thermostat.

My 1996 370 sun dancer gas engines are hard to start cold. Pump the throttles 2 or 3 times then 8 to 10 seconds before the catch. When they are warm they start right up. They have new plugs and fresh gas.
