    1986 Monaco 197 Bow light

My bow light on my '86 197 Monaco has seen better days however it's not the standard bow light. It looks different than anyone I can find and nothing else looks like it will fit in the space given. Where do I find the factory style Sea Ray bow light? Thanks

    Another newbie, with a 1983 210 Cuddy

Always good to see another Texan! Also you may want to consider buying a MerCruiser manual as well as it may have more detailed information pertaining to somethings. I think it's best to have both manuals. Good luck!

    Texas Snow

I've always launched at that dead end road next to Volente beach. We had a family friend that had a place ajacent to VIP Marina with a dock so we would keep the boat there. BTW I think South Austin Marine is on Hwy 71 going towards Oak Hill after you pass I 35

    Texas Snow

So I've decided that snow is cool maybe once or twice a year. Mainly because I walk outside and see this on my boat! Now I know this may not look like a lot to some but for central Texas its a blizzard! lol Dallas got it even worse and I think they're still getting hit. BTW cleaning...

    Exhaust sound

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a lift muffler? I googled it and it appears to be a muffler used on boats with exhaust below the water line. Is this correct?

Taking Panacea out for a spin this weekend

Yep, absolutley crazy! How big is Lake Belton? I've always wanted to go but have never been. The Fiancee and myself have been wanting to take a trip this summer with the boat and Belton isn't far from here (a couple hours I believe). Are there any places with little cabins to rent or...

    Bow light on 197 Monaco

The lenses on my bowlight are broken out and the entire fixture just needs to be replaced on my Monaco 197. Looking at the light it doesn't look like the standard bow light I've seen. I checked a lot of places such as Iboats and Academy and could not find one. Can someone point me in the...

    Thinking of Buying First Boat!

The stringers are the "support beams" that run the length of the boat and give it it's strength. You don't want to have one thats comprimised by rot while running down the lake because it will comprimise the strength of the hull. As far as samples, I've never done it, but I believe you just...
