    Exhaust?

I guess the only time I have seen my exhaust is when the lower unit is up a little. With it on the trailer I never can get it all the way down so I never noticed the maiting portion. Makes sense though.

    Exhaust?

It comes out the lower portion of the gimble ring, not the lower unit. The gimble ring is the part on the back of the boat that the lower unit attatches to and swivels from. BIII does not come out the props. Hope that all makes sense.

    Installed new Depth / Fishfinder

Well I finally had a chance to get the boat wet and test out the new fish/depth finder. It worked flawlessly. The color screen is a huge benifit when the sun hits the screen. It is completely readable. I was surprised that it even worked just fine with the factory depth finder running at the...

    Installed new Depth / Fishfinder

That picture was taken before I was finished. The wire is tight against the hull now. Give me a little credit... That hole is the drain from the blower box. I fished the cable through the hose, through the box and out the other side without any modification from the factory setup. So...

    Installed new Depth / Fishfinder

I thought about that, but I think it might only be a problem at higher speeds, but to move it over would start lifting it out of the water. I also kind of went off of what I have seen my dad do over the years with good results. I will know more this weekend (hopefully). I also will be curious...

    Time to enjoy the boat!

Well I moved to Jacksonville last summer and spent most of it trying to get the house / property useable. This summer I intend to have some fun. We are going to head out to New River this weekend and get the boat wet for the first time in a while. Bought a good supply of salt-away and am...

    Installed new Depth / Fishfinder

Well I just bought a new (refurbished) Garmin color depth finder and installed it yesterday on my 2004 220 Select. A little more work than I thought it would be. In order to mount the screen on the dash I had to remove the dash. The space between the windshield and the dash was just to small...

    Smartcraft Tilt/Trim Problem

I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine seems to do it much more at slower speeds, which of course is when I really need my depth gauge that keeps disappearing. I am going to check all my conections starting with the trim sending units. If I figure something out I will let you know...
