The current hold up is the shop that has my FW tank.
I discovered all those holes when I removed the tank... surprise !
I found it locally here in Detroit at a place called public lumber.
I would imagine its available somewhere near you.

typically just teak oil. you can also thin out a traditional varnish and apply it. there is an excellent video on this on youtube where a guy does a sailboat.
be sure not to over torque the hardware on the rails. I plan to do this at some point next year.
I recommend 4000UV to bed the rails and about 10-12 ft lbs. too often I see people hammer them down as hard as they can with 5200.
they were 15ft kits but I ended up cutting off about 2 foot each. I simply ran out of room.
