Surprised no one mentioned this. Just email them to yourself, yep to and from address will be the same. I do that all of the time, it's the easiest way to get them on to a PC. That way you don't even have to be home to get them there. Of course that's only for a few at a time.
Yep, Chetco has the best hardware out there in my opinion. But their programming tool doesn't really work. So it's a real PITA to try and use. Not because it's complicated (but it is that as well) but because it corrupts files and you don't know that has happened until something doesn't work...
@Jeff Evans Jeff, Regarding alarms. The engine over temp, trans over temp and low oil pressure alarms all float when not in alarm and go low when in alarm. The EMU-1 can be programmed for the trigger voltage threshold. The issue is, if set to trigger for a voltage lower then say 6v, if the alarm...
@Jeff Evans Jeff, The Cat senders are probably VDO, but USA version, that's what most Teleflex are. Could also be Walker depends on where the cat's came from. There should be numbers stamped on the sender, if you could get a pic of that I might be able to identify them. Also when the engine is...
I used these in my master head and stateroom. They are 120v --> 12v LED strips.

Can't speak to the v2 pump, but I would think there would be plastic plugs to stop that from happening. It there were plugs and they were installed correctly, I would consider returning and getting a new one. JMO.
Never mind answered my own question. If it doesn't show up in the main menu then it won't display. The Generic Temp below is the R-Pi temp. There was a github package for that the Victron supports.
Going to try and create Signal K devices that will display in the GUI. It has a Signal K...
Dave how did you get it to display the temps? Are they connected directly to the GX or are they being seen through N2K?
Since you guys posted about this I have been playing around with the Venus OS, a GX on a Raspberry Pi, and have gotten it to see all of my network but it will only dispaly the...
In your #18 post are the transducers connected to the stb engine, #'s 9 and 12. Unless you bridge your Smart Craft network with he NMEA 2000 network, they will be independent. Unless the Smart Craft transducer are not working I would leave them alone and bridge the SC net work with the N2K...
For the time being this is still America, you get to hate whoever you like and for what ever reason you want. You can even publicly state and post what ever you like, for the most part.
But 197 post's on how much you and others hate Tom Selleck is well, a bit crazy. JMO. I also like some of his...
You guys are killing me. Who cares about what an actor does off screen? Most are complete idiots as bad as popular musicians. If you like their movies or music, who cares.
Best example I can think of is Tom Cruise and the band Metallica. Both outside of what they do are complete morons. Both...
The problem there is no level shifting and the senders can't drive a relay. That's why those relay boards are so perfect. Also they belong in a project box to protect against being hit with water.
But if the NO side was fused, what were you driving with it? I only use them to drive digital...
Sorry no I haven't, but know of it. My house is all automated since HA has been around. Since the advent of Alexa, it is also controlled by voice. I have tried Alexa on the boat and as mentioned it was less then successful.
Unfortunately when it comes to boats, automation hasn't taken off like...
You raise a good point on the dual breakers, if it is a GFCI 50A feeding the boat they will both pop. But if a regular non GFCI it won't.
That panel you posted is perfect for the 50A feeds.
@ROTYDE Unless your in a lake, know your tides where you anchor and where the tide level is at when you anchor.
But as mentioned, I wouldn't anchor in less then 4' under my boat at low tide. A dinghy is the best part of boating and can lead to some really fun "adventures".
