yes, i know all about the set screw. that was not the issue here---nor was the spline, which i also know about. this was a case of two different metals bonding to one another after thirty years in a salt air environment. the only way out was to cut, unfortunately. it was not a great design...

yes, these are I/Os, but the beauty of this system is that she has closed cooling systems. there is no salt water running through these engines. also, one engine is nearly new (about 20 hours) and the other is brand new--i.e., ZERO hours. being installed, this month.
will post pictures when it's commissioned. i have none to show, i don't think. anyway, it's your basic 300 sundancer--they all look pretty much the same. This one is white, with blue canvas.
Well, we find that we are just not using her as much as we should--busy lives, indeed--and so it is time to sell our beloved Sound Waves.
