Lol, that’s exactly what happened when I showed my wife this thread, she said what are you waiting for.... So I had no choice... lol. searayman13 on eBay is awesome to deal with, but the extra 100 per side for the yacht was too much for me... that plus 40% exchange, so like the OP I ordered...

I believe it would be the same... pull out a old piece & it should be 1 1/4 wide 3/4 thick... I found this pic of an 08 40, using both style emblems... I guess that’s the look I’m going for ... lol

I agree, might be to much... I need to have the arch polished anyway, so I'll pull the old emblems off, & once I put the new ones on, I can decide... I did look at some newer models '05 & up & they have both logos, but the SeaRay is below the rub rail

After looking at your pics again, I think I’m going to replace the arch emblems as well, going to order them off eBay, just not sure how it will look sinse I already swapped to the updated forward logos

I noticed in your pics (I have OCD lol ) your foam strip that covers your windshield screws looks to have shrunk leaving large gaps, just like mine was , shrunk & badly deteriorating.. drove me nuts every-time I'd wash the boat it would leave black residue everywhere, anyway you can buy 25'...

I replaced the gold script with these, & removed the gold boot stripe along the waterline , really like those arch decals you did! Not sure why my pics are sideways..

So easy to pop out, I wouldn’t bother trying to paint on the boat.. I pulled mine off this afternoon after reading this thread... scuffed & sprayed ... done looks great

Has anyone removed the textured top dash pad (where the compass is mounted) I’d like to have it painted or wrapped in vinyl ... how does it come off ?

I had a local Sea Dek installer do mine in August , It turned out awesome, but it wasn’t cheap ... 5K Canadian

If you’re on lake st Clair , the Black Sea Dek is fine ... my buddy’s skater has it & even in direct August sunlight all day it’s still not bad .. one of the reasons I went with it.. I thought it really updated the boat . I also pulled the gold boot stripes & gold emblems ..

The boat came with many updates , 18k worth of new in the box ray marine auto pilot & navigation equipment , 2 flat screens, really nice updated canvass & my favorite part & deal sealer for me was bow & stern thrusts , I have to say it makes docking stress free!
