Holy moly! $895,000 AU is $660k+ USD! May be worth shipping it down under! Locally, they're all in the mid-high $400s. I completely agree with OC....the thought of being without my boat my boat that is completely dialed in and starting fresh all over is depressing and it'd be really tough...
So let's talk values for a moment. I'm loosely debating listing my boat for sale. I don't, thankfully, need to sell her. But she's pristine example of an open checkbook NE boat and I've taken countless hours (as we all have) to ensure she's an unbelievably clean, time capsule of a 2006...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
I've seen a set of 16" Garmins on our boat (mine is 06' too), but my understanding is that it was [of course] a custom fit with a new dash panel - which I believe was done my technograifx (sp?). I took a quick look and I can't find the pictures -...
That’s a serious drain! No food particles getting help up in that opening. Looks good and far enough above the water line I’m guessing to have any potential issues.
Button Snaps running along the hardtop - super simple - if it takes more than three minutes to install, took you too long.

We use the windshield 'screen' all the time when the boat isn't in use - cuts down on fade too, not only heat. Gioia Sails has the original template, he's made of a thick, screen-like poly material - and rolls, folds, etc.....Mine is original to the boat, and it's literally like new, despite...
Any shots of what’s behind there? Assume you had to unscrew that whole panel to access the regulator behind it, but utilized the existing connector? This is totally on my to-do list since the last time I used city water, it was a dribble at the faucets and I needed to leave the hose in the...
B&S did my props last season, was very satisfied with them as well. I don’t remedy the specifics, but I believe we slightly changed the pitch per their recommendation and familiarity with the boat. I’m shafts not Zeus though.
Where are you located? If you’re claim free - my premiums have been consistent over the past few years. I left Travelers a few years ago because of their annual increases, but they’re an excellent carrier when the claims happen.
Replacing it is the issue. Not many boats tick the boxes like the 48 unless you move into a different stratosphere. Love this boat, and I’ve had a lot of boats.
Thank you both! And these work done with the stock dimmer at the helm? How do you alternate colors if there no ‘on/off’ just the slow dimming increase?
For the original halogens (dimmable) in the hardtop - has anyone found a plug and play replacement LED bulb they like that maintained the dimmability (is that a word?) of the OEM bulbs? I have tri-color lumitecs on a separate switch, but would love the additional light of the warm white ones...
Where are you shipping to/from? Shrink wrap may be worth it to protect it, but a really good detail may be all you need depending on the distance. Some say the shrink wrap catching highway wind and slapping the topsides may be more damaging to the gel coat than road dust and bugs.
Amazing, I look forward to the rest of the pics when installed (and the number of times you cursed accessing the location under the batteries). It’ll be a well worth it upgrade though.
How many gph vs the original March pump? I just replaced my cockpit air pump (I was getting HPF as well) and I thought it was fine until I saw the amount of difference in water output. I was thinking of replacing the cabin pump which runs the three inside units as well.
Florida boats that aren’t from members in this forum are going to be tough to look at! Not all 48 owners are as neurotic as we are. All kidding aside, good job on your diligence, the right one is out there - take your time.
