    Thanks Blue Yonder and becnme for the insights. I was planning on some sort of thermostat on the coolant side with a return bypass valve if that is possible. So one the HW tank is at 140º it shut off. Not sure if possible or practical. The QSC uses both sea water and coolant.

    Well, it's a moot point now. The Sea Ray we ended up buying, (44' Sedan Bridge) doesn't have a table that would accommodate the ottomans.
