OK ,when I get back to the boat this weekend I will check again with the IR gun , thank you for the info and help

when I took readings at the thermostat housings both engines where reading between 145 and 150 , I did not shoot the gun right where the sensor goes in and the gun was about 5 inches away and this was after the engines where warmed up and running for about a 1/2 hour

boat has Bravo twos , when I replaced the impellers I purchased the kit that had the housing, impeller and wear plate and replaced all three pieces

Hi everybody , I have a strange one I can't figure out , twin 2001 merc 5.0 efi , I changed the impellers over the winter as general maintenance , last season the port engine ran at 170 degrees and the starboard ran at around 175 ,splashed the boat about a month ago and put about 3 hours on it ...

I unfortunately have to replace the helm as well, the steering was getting tight at the end of the season last year and I guess over the winter it completely seized , I checked the engines, drives and got everything ready to have it splashed , the marina put it in the water ,I pushed myself off...

Hi , I'm new here and was reading this, I have a new to me 2001 290DA and I have to replace the steering cable , is there anything special I will need or any tips anyone can give me as to how to access everything and fish the new cable through? Any help is appreciated !
