Hi Greg, Apologies. I still havent got to my freezer. I am still working through the higher priority items having only purchased my boat a few months ago. I am still working my way through the engine maintenance tasks. I will get to the freezer at some stage. Not a high priority here in...

I am not sure about alternatives. I would be wary of upgrading to a greater PSI due to the pressure rating of standard piping and fittings. Upgrading the pump might have unintended consequences eg leaks etc. In regards to noise you could fashion some sound insulation around the pump mounted on...

Hi Greg, I believe that the standard setup is for the fridge and freezer to be side by side. That is certainly the case on my SR 36. The fridge is on a separate electrical circuit breaker to the freezer. They operate independently electrically. I also have a problem with my freezer. It is...

    Just bought a 2007 375 Sedan Bridge

Yes it is rather large. I love it. I am now planning what to do with the large swim platform. I think I will use it for a summer season then decide whether to perhaps potentially install a long bench seat for those that want to soak up the sun. The standard factory bench seat in the cockpit area...

That did the trick. Thanks everyone. A very good pull upwards and stairs came up. The gas strut was certainly well charged and was doing a good job holding the stairs down.

Yes I did try . But the stairs seem fixed in position. Have you been able to simply lift your stairs ? Are they designed to be lifted ?

Does anyone know how to lift or remove the salon steps to gain easier access to the fresh water pump and associated piping and wiring? I am trying to change the fresh water pump on my 2007 36 Sedan Bridge (375 International model). There is very small cutout hatch under the galley kitchen...

Changing a fresh water pump on 36 Sedan Bridge. Can I lift the Salon Stairs?

Thanks Phil. I have those manuals and checked the details related to the salon steps. Unfortunately there are no details that might help me understand how to move or lift the salon steps to expose the tunnel under the sink. The tunnel incorporates the fresh water pump, wiring, associated piping...

Changing a fresh water pump on 36 Sedan Bridge. Can I lift the Salon Stairs?

I am trying to change the fresh water pump in a 2007 36 Sedan Bridge. There is very small hatch under the galley kitchen sink which does provide limited access to the fresh water pump. However when i put my head through the hatch I can also see a panel on the back of the Salon Stairs. The panel...
