I don't think my problem was Poly Glow or Vertglass - it sanded very easy, just took a little time - did not gum up sand paper at all -

Thanks everyone for the input - I did it the hard way - I wet sanded it off 400-600-1000-1500-2000 sand paper & did the whole green stripe. Lots work but it looks new. Now redoing the dash - moving everything - adding 2 garmin 3210.
